Yeah I guess I'm not surprised she followed you - I think your article is more interesting and thoughtful than Patmore's! I think you're right to call it a prose poem and also obviously I'm not suggesting anyone has to like the poem or shouldn't critique it. My big objection to that was her contention that it wasn't even poetry and I already have a massive thing about how cynical and awful The Spectator is
Aside from Patmore, I think the poem is indicative of the direction The Poetry Society have been going in. I haven’t liked any of the winning entries at all.
